ELECTRONIC O & M DOCUMENTS 

Our aim of reducing the amount of printed paper we generate is proving
successful with electronic Operation & Maintenance Manuals being
provided on all new C A Sothers projects. Investment in Internet access,
Desktop publishing, the ability to scan drawings up to A0 together with
CD writing and labelling facilities has streamlined this traditionally
laborious and time-consuming task. Clients are telling us that a CD
containing the records and drawings of their building services installation
is far more user friendly than trying to sort through numerous ring binders
of paper to find the information they want.

Files can easily be updated when alterations are carried out to the building
services in the future. Customers can still have printed copies if requested.
