and women leaving
school and wishing to pursue a career in Building
Services.
The
4 year JIB training scheme includes block release
at technical
college and on site training.
To satisfactorilycomplete the apprenticeship,
candidates must obtain the
following qualifications:-
City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation
Theory
Part
2 Certificate
Achievement
Measurement 2 Test
NVQ Level 3-
Installing and Commissioning
Electrical Systems and Equipment
The
opportunity to progress to the electrical installation
'C' Certificate
can be offered to trainees that achieve sufficiently
high grades in their
college and site based assessments.
We
currently have 14 trainees at various stages of
the 4 year
apprenticeship.
We
have sponsored technical and administrative members
of staff to
successfully complete the following further education
courses:-
NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Business Administration
NVQ Level 4
Business Administration Modules
Microsoft Office
Word, Excel and PowerPoint
ONC Building
Services (Mechanical Services)
HNC BTEC Building
Services (Electrical Services)
We
employ St Johns Ambulance to provide us with First
Aid training
comprising either the 1 day Appointed Persons
qualification or the 4
day First Aid at Work Statutory Certificate.
